2020 has been a year of chaos. Bombarded with many different angry opinions, voices and perspectives on covid, riots, and presidential elections, to name a few. From wearing masks or not to, social-distancing, closing down businesses, what is “essential goods” and “peaceful protest” and to whom? People pointing the finger at different groups to blame for something. And it all started with Covid19! This was a psychological war for many people. The message was you are not safe outside your home (many weren’t safe inside their home either, with their abusers). The lockdown that was supposed to be just a few weeks turned into months. That was the beginning of the riots and the spiritual darkness hovering over our nation. Leading right up to the presidential election. “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You” (Isaiah 26:3).

Spiritual warfare is increasing in these last days and it’s exactly how the Bible tells us. “When God says, “Once more,” He means He will take away everything of this world that can be shaken so the things that cannot be shaken will be left” (Hebrews 12:27). God is not surprised, this allows us to see who and where we have put our hope and security.

God hasn’t left us alone, in fact the warnings of the end times are written so we can stay grounded when the world is shaken. Thank you Lord for giving us your Word as an anchor of truth in a sea of uncertainty!! Christ’s redeeming love is certain and will stand the test of time. “We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain” (Hebrews 6:19).

Grace in the midst of suffering!! 1 Peter

Jesus said "Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven" (Matthew 18:19). ✅

The power of agreement is at hand! God said to pray and release the kingdom on earth (Matthew 6:10). Believers have the authority, but Satan is deceiving many, who then are coming into agreement with fear and doubt. Jezebel spirit is the controlling manipulative spirit behind the media. We cannot bind the forces of evil in one breath, and then agree, and speak what the news is telling us. Believers have the ability to declare with authority, to empower the angelic realm to tear down the strongholds and finish the work of God on earth. The whole concept of prayer is not about asking the evil to stop, it's about speaking the Truth of God's word to be established. We cannot do both. We can't speak "In Jesus name I pray that …. And hope for the best” that's not a prayer of authority. What can the angels do with that?! "Praise the Lord, you his angels, you mighty ones who do his bidding, who obey his word" (Psalm 103:20). The same goes for praying with authority in Jesus name, and then repeating what the news report said about how bad it's getting and then agreeing with the fake news. Doing that only empowers the darkness of evil forces (Proverbs 18:21). God said we have all the powers over evil "But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind" (James 1:6).

Not sure how to pray? Read the scriptures out loud, they only contain Truth, Spirit and Life. "All scripture is God Breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness" (2 Tim 3:16).

         Proved Genuine!

"For it is God's will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish men." (1 Peter 2:15)

When the world is speaking out fear, and anger, may God's children be overflowing with His love, and peace in the midst of chaos. "In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that your faith of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire- may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed." (1 Peter 1:6-7) Peter is writing here to encourage believers to expect but press through trials, and persecution for being a Christian! We are living in the days where there is persecution for enforcing God's ways! But that is OK, great is our reward in heaven (Matt 5:12). The Lord hears our intercession and is proud that we will stand firm in Him to the end. "live your lives as strangers here in reverent fear" (1 Peter 1:17)

We are to live our lives with a reverent fear of the Lord, NOT fear of man, NOT fear of a virus, and NOT fear of the unknown. As we live with a reverent fear and awe of the Lord, fear of other things will slowly fade. OH HOW HE LOVES US!!! Leading up to Christmas Advent - let us remember our redemption through the birth of Jesus, the savior for those who believe. What's your plan to grow in your relationship with Jesus?

“For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel’s will save it.” (Mark 8:35) This is one of my favorite verses in the bible!! When people stop trying to save their life and instead lose it for Jesus, fears go and peace comes.

Jesus said whoever would save his life will lose it, because the human condition is to try to save yourself; from all the things in this world that one would fear. The human tendency strives, to not be sick, to provide for self financially, to be in control of things and people, not to be rejected, and all of it is done in human strength! Humans strive to find happiness, and purpose, in a fallen world. The meaning of life BEFORE knowing Christ personally is all about survival. In striving to survive, you lose your life, and its true purpose! Jesus said when we lose our life for his sake, we will save it. Another translation says we will 'gain' it. When we come to the realization that Jesus died to give us life, we no longer need to strive for it.

When one surrenders their life, and what they 'think' they need to survive or be fulfilled, that is when abundant life takes place. Jesus gives life through Him, and the Holy Spirit awakens us to a whole new life through the Holy Spirit. There is no longer striving to get something we have. When you surrender your life, you will no longer fear for your life, because it’s no longer yours, it’s His. Fear of sickness, finances, love and acceptance, can no longer have power over you because they were surrendered. Your life of fear, for His life through faith.

Either way, you can try and wear yourself out, but in reality, you have no control over your life. Jesus gives us not just an offer of a lifetime, but for all eternity. He is asking for your life, in exchange for His. John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave his only Son Jesus, that whoever believes in Him, will not perish but have eternal life.”

Prayer Suggestion: Thank you Lord for the offer of eternal life through faith in you. I believe Jesus that you took my sin on your body, to give me life in abundance. (Repent and turn from Sins) I choose today to give you my life, and my fears! I ask Holy Spirit to come and live in and through me. It is no longer I that live, but you live in me. I chose to believe that you will supply all of my needs as I allow you to live though me. It's no longer my will, but your will be done. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.

Fear has no power when Faith is present!

         Sheep, Listen Up!

"My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of my hand" (John 10:27-28).

Even the weakest sheep who follow and listen to Jesus is secure in Him. There is no power or circumstance on earth that will take you from Him. In Him is the fullness of peace, rest and security. The world's system will steal your "feeling" safe and secure them moment you allow the outside voice to become louder than your Shepherd Jesus. If you are His sheep, you listen to His voice, and know that you are in His hands.

Listening to and following is a present tense, it is a repeated and a habitual activity! It doesn't come easy, for a reason, because He wants us close to Him! The only way to hear, it to listen, the only way to listen, is to say close enough to hear.

This world is screaming that you are not safe! The only way to override the voice of the world is to stay closer, tune in, and actively listen for the voice of your Lord and Savior Jesus. (read the Bible) Remember the power that rose Christ from the dead is alive in you. Believers are called to rise and shine for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you. "See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and His glory appears over you." (Isaiah 60:1-3)

Be close enough to Him to hear Him speak, and see His light brighter and louder than anything on this earth!

"Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates a brother or sister is still in the darkness" (1 John 2:9). Hate is a strong word here, but take a look at what Jesus said and compare, when Jesus said if you lust, it's like you have committed adultery. The act of one is comparable to another. The sin starts in the mind, in the imagination. So it might not be actual "hate" of a brother or sister, but we can also say, the act that comes from dislike, jealous, bitterness, and so on. These people who claim to be in the light, Jesus said they are simply just not walking in the Spirit of God, in His light. Believers are the ones who claim they are "in light" and so deceive themselves when they are in dislike, jealousy, bitterness and simply doing the enemies work in tearing down, gossip, OR stirring up by triggering others to be jealous, bitter, angry and so on. Sounds like darkness? it is! There is no place for this in the church, none!

Remember, we fight not flesh and blood but it's the Spirit behind it. Pray for that person who is walking in darkness. "But anyone who hates a brother or sister is in the darkness and walks around in the darkness. They do not know where they are going, because the darkness has blinded them" (1 John 2:11).

The enemy knows others triggers, softs spots, and will use ANY available vessel to do his work! Many times people don't even realize they are being used to tear down and stir up their own people! So what do you do, when you notice you are being stirred up, and targeted? RUN! not literally! But yes, remember it's the enemy to entice you to jump in, and stir up your emotions. Since we are the "body" Satan will scheme to use the "parts" against each other, because we are connected. When you feel like you are in the company of darkness (the spirit at work in THAT moment, Eph 6:12), Ask yourself, what spirit is working through this person? Is it bringing life, edification, hope, are you being encouraged? Or are you being stirred up in negative emotions such as bitterness, anger, jealousy? You have the power right there to refuse to listen to it. Do not engage with it, you won't win and actually Jesus calls it sin and you are partnering with darkness. This is the enemy dividing people and churches. Do not be ignorant of his schemes. (see 2 Cor 2:11)

We never have to be the victim of our feelings, we have the choice to have faith in the Lord, or faith in feelings. We can choose to trust our future in His hands, despite what is going on in the natural, or not to.

"Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation. The Lord God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer's feet, and he will make me walk on my high hills" (Habakkuk 3:18-19)

2,000 + years later we are in some very dark trying times!! Yet, we can have the same attitude of faith as Habakkuk. The stronger our relationship is with the Lord, the easier it will be to trust Him. Through the uncertainty of life, we are exactly where God wants us, dependent on Him, seeking Him for strength and peace. And being used as intercessors for our (wicked) nation.

Fight discouragement with prayer and faith, in God.

Prayer Suggestion: Forgive me Lord for any fear or doubt, forgive me for focusing on what's wrong instead of what's right, the power of my prayers! I pray that you would increase my faith, that I can rejoice in you even in the darkest times!

We are either growing closer to the Lord, or further away. There is always movement in the Spirit realm. There are many things in this world vying for your attention! "Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life" (Prov 4:23). Our first priority is to guard our heart ❤️and mind in Christ Jesus. We have a choice who and what we give our time and attention to. Even though we have been in "quarantine" and things have been "shut down" we are bombarded with world news, social media news feeds. Hours can pass reading news, and social media, checking emails, and so on. Hours of valuable time can pass.‍♂️ ‍♀️

The great "I AM" is calling for our undivided heart. He is worthy! Growing in faith and just being still in His presence is what we need! At the end of the day, nothing on social media feeds, or the news with draw you closer to what the heart is looking for. "Deep calls onto Deep" Your Spirit is designed to be connected to His. To be filled, with peace, hope and contentment. It's only found In Him. Don't feel guilty about not responding to every single thing vying for your attention. People will either understand or not, it's ok, remember, we are either growing closer or further from Him. In these last days, the last thing we want to be going further away from our King Jesus. The Lord must be Lord of all !Computers, cell phones, all the technology of today, oh so bitter sweet!!

May you give me the strength to say no to all the distractions so I can give you my undivided attention. Fill me today with more OIL, Holy Spirit! In Jesus' name above all names I pray!

We all have the opportunity for a new beginning in life. Everyone wants a new beginning in some area in their life, at some point. But the truth is that without redemption through Jesus there is no life. You may have physical life but void of any connection to God and purpose. That’s why God said in the Gospel of John, unless you are born-again, you can’t “see” the Kingdom of God. Without the Holy Spirit, you are blinded, still veiled, by the Spirit of the world.

Since the Fall of Man in the Garden of Eden what was intended for the beginning of a perfect life, for all mankind, ended up being the death to the human race. Both in the Spiritual and in the physical. Then God said “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness… (see Gen 1: 26). God created Adam and Eve in His Image, God walked with them, talked with them, and gave them all dominion over the earth. They even were given the authority to name all of the livestock, birds and animals, talk about power!

“You may surely eat of every tree of the garden, but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.” (Gen 2:16). There wasn’t any interference in hearing from God, they knew what was right and what was wrong. Adam and Eve didn’t have any distractions that we have in the world today, they were in the perfect, right standing with God. They couldn’t blame their poor choice on their parents or learned behaviors from the world. They weren’t concerned about finances, relationships, or their health. God gave them the free choice to obey Him or not. Satan used God’s creation, disguised as a serpent, to get her to question God. Satan came with just a whisper of doubt was able to get Eve to communicate with him! Eve was completely content in the Garden, she wasn’t thinking about what she didn’t have, not until Satan tempted her to look, and whispered lies to her. He lied and told her she didn’t have enough, that God was holding out on her, that her life would be better if she had more. The moment she gave attention and listened, he was able to get her to question, doubt and then sin. Eve was talked into doubting God! Satan is still at work behind the scenes in the world today. Trying to get believers to doubt and go against God and His ways.

We can learn a lot from Eve, she had everything, in perfect paradise, and Satan was still able to get her to believe she needed more. Our world today wants to sell you that “something more” and it leads to death. It’s deadly fruit, when you eat of it, it produces the same. It produces death in the natural, and in the spiritual.

One thing as believers we have that Adam and Eve didn’t have was the warning of how deceptive Satan really was and still is! God didn’t warn them that a serpent was coming to the garden to tempt them to sin. Since Adam and Eve, we now know how deceptive the devil really is. We have their testimony, and the Bible that’s filled with wisdom to not make the same mistakes. We learn from the Israelites and all the people that walked with God before us, so we don’t make the same mistakes.

Christians need to encourage each other stay close to God and far from sin and temptation. Adam was no help for Eve, he went along with her and sinned against God. We need to pray against being deceived, to be strong in the Lord, and not let Satan use us to pull each other down. The bible says that Satan prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking who he can devour. (see 1 Peter 5:8). The enemy wants to destroy marriages, relationships, and families. Divorce can cause lasting effects on self and others, and it’s a domino effect onto the children. God hates it, and Satan loves it. He will whisper to you or use others to cause you to doubt your mate, friendships, of their intentions, their love, their faithfulness. Just as he did with Eve, getting her to doubt God. When you surrender to the Lord, completely, He loves to work miracles. He knows He will get the Glory, because when there seems to be no way, He makes a way. He transforms lives to better than when than before. I’ve seen it over and over, and over again.

The enemy has blinded the eyes of mankind, and many are still doing what Eve did. Doubting if God is real, questioning Him about sin, and thinking you’re missing out of a better life in sin without God. Pre-believers (unbelievers) don’t have the Holy Spirit therefore they won’t discern the lies. When you are a Child of God, and filled with the Holy Spirit, you have His divine power to take every thought captive, and make it obedient to Christ, by replacing it with the Truth of God’s Word.

God provided a way through Jesus to redeem back what Satan stole! But it’s a choice! There is no middle ground, either we accept the offer of eternal life with God, through repentance and turning from Satan and sin. Or we don’t. Through Jesus Christ we are restored fully back to God our creator as if we have never sinned! Being restored fully means that we have the ability to have perfect intimacy with God, we have authority in the name of Jesus over creation, and we have a dual nature, citizens of heaven, and reining on the earth! The ability to see and hear in the Spirit realm is the bread for all Spirit filled believers. We were created to live in the physical world and in the spiritual world at the same time. We are Spiritual beings in an earthly body and a heavenly mindset. That’s the good news! The bad news is Satan is the god of the world for all of the unredeemed human race.

"And hope does not disappoint us because God has poured out into our hearts the Holy Spirit who has been given to us." (Romans 5:5)

Through the Holy Spirit, we have Spiritual eyes and ears that fill us with revelation from heaven. Press through all the natural distractions that include the "what if's,"

anxiety and worry. The enemy of your soul (media/the world) will try to keep you stuck in fear. Fear keeps you locked into the worry of the future and what will happen next, fear keeps you from living in the present!

The present is a gift, and God is calling for us to receive His gift today, His presence, His love. Receive hope through the power of the Holy Spirit by gazing on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith. He is waiting for those who will press through and enter in.

Prayer Suggestion: Thank you Lord for the gift of faith! By faith I know that the supernatural realm is all around me, and by faith I can enter in. Lord I don't want to miss what you want to do in my life today because I am worried about tomorrow. Fill me today with a fresh outpouring of Holy Spirit and help me grow closer to you. When the storms of life come, I know my life is anchored in you. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen!

         NO Fear Here!

The world’s views can create confusion and fear! We need to remember we walk in this world is through faith in Christ. As believers we don’t have the same war going on. People are paralyzed with fear of losing their lives, we fear more for their eternal destiny. As we should be praying for all to come to know and accept Jesus. The moment we received Christ as Lord and Savior we forfeit our lives and “say not my will, but your will be done.”

Becoming a Christian is accepting Jesus’ life in place of ours. We no longer live for ourselves, but Christ lives in and through us. We don’t need to fear, we need to trust Him. He purchased your life and wants to use you in this world for His glory. Let’s use this time to draw close, store up oil, intercede, and experience the Holy Spirit with deeper revelations. The enemy is behind this spirit of fear, you have power over that spirit, and there is nothing you need to fear when you know who your Heavenly Father is. “For God has not given me a spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind.” (2 Tim 1:7)

(Psalm 22:3). When we voice our praises to the Lord, we open ourselves up to experiencing His nearness/presence. We can praise Him, in the car, work, home or in an empty elevator. Praise Him for who He is, what He has done, and what He plans to do with our lives. Praises to God from a heart of adoration and thankfulness shifts our focus from "I" internal of fear and worry to faith in Him. His ears are attentive to our prayers, and our praise is incense going up to heaven (Rev 8:4, Ps 141:2). Don't wait for things to be great or to "feel" like giving God praise. Praise Him, and watch things shift in and around you. We make the angels happy and give satan a heart attack when we praise God even when sad, worried, or in fearful.

Faith is greater worth than gold, we don’t need to fear anything, even the corona virus! God holds our life in His hands, and that is the perspective that we must choose to live from. When you said yes, to Jesus’ invitation to eternal life, it was in exchange for your life. He purchased it with His blood to redeem you from sin and death. It is no longer you that lives but Christ that lives in you (Galatians 2:20). God who created the heavens and the earth, has power over everything and it’s In Him that we need to put our complete trust. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only son Jesus, that whoever believes in Him will not perish but will have eternal life” (John 3:16). Today is the day of salvation. You can be secure in Christ, if you are born again. In Him we live and move and have our being!

The spirit of fear cannot be cast down by breathing techniques, positive thinking, crystal energy healing, or anything else other than Jesus. Engaging in these activities will only invite more unclean spirits. If you are a Christian "God has not given you the spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind" (2 Tim 1:7).

Don't be deceived by the world's techniques to bring you relief from fear, worry and anxiety. If anything, the secular world will encourage you that their "self-help" is not based on any religion. Beware - Anything you focus on becomes bigger. If you believe that your relief will come through a particular method, that is where you are placing your faith. The deception behind this is to take your faith off of Christ and place it elsewhere. It is in Jesus' name and by His blood, that we are set free from evil. "Don't let anyone capture you with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that comes from human thinking and spiritual powers of this world, rather than from Christ"

Lord reveal any area in their life they need to expose to your light for repentance and healing.

“The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, but considers them foolishness and cannot understand them, because they are discerned only through the Spirit.” (1 Corinthians 2:14 NIV)

People without the Holy Spirit can’t understand those that are being led by the Holy Spirit daily. As Christians we must pray for the pre-believer, that their hearts will be open to receive the gospel. The message of the cross is rejected because they are blinded by the god of this world. “The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.” (2 Corinthians 4:4)

The same can be true for Christians, unbelief at just another level. Rejecting laying on of hands to heal the sick, speaking in other tongues, dreams and visions, prophecy, and signs and wonders.

Does your unbelief limit God’s power? Ask the Lord for yourself to show you, if you don’t ask you will never know. The last thing Satan wants is for you to believe in and walk in the supernatural power of God. Jesus wants to show up and show off His power in and through your life; but without faith that He can, He won’t.

Many people are so fearful of being deceived they miss out on the supernatural power around them daily. If you ask the Holy Spirit to reveal Himself, our loving father will not give you something else to deceive you. (see Matthew 7:9-11)

“I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these” (John 14:12)

Jesus has called his followers (then and now) to partner with Him on this earth through the power of the Holy Spirit. But without faith it is impossible to please God, and without faith our prayers will hit the ceiling. “And these signs will follow those who believe; In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will place hands on the sick and they will be healed.” (see Mark 16:18)

Prayer Suggestion: Thank you Father for saving me, by my faith in Jesus’ death and resurrection. Jesus took my place and paid my debt for sin. I choose to be your vessel on this earth to use for your Glory. Holy Spirit I don’t want my unbelief to limit you in any way. Open my Spiritual eyes and ears if they have been closed (or increase what I already have). I pray Increase in your power and glory in my life.

          Information Overload

We are living in a world where we are all on "information overload." We can easily access information about anything anytime. Just about everyone has an opinion and wants to share it. God knew the issues we would have in this world that's why He gave us His Holy Spirit. "But when he, the Spirit of Truth comes, he will guide you into all truth." (John 16:13)

We need to be careful who we allow to speak into our life, especially if you're seeking counseling and direction. The person who speaks into your life will be speaking from their experiences, beliefs and perspectives. They will be looking through their "lenses" and projecting their truth onto you. We need to know who we are in Christ and His Truth. "The truth will set you free"(John 8:32) The Holy Spirit is our Counselor. We cannot accept all advice or opinions, even if they wrote a book, hold a degree or are licensed to counsel. Christian's have the best internal GPS system, it's supernatural and will never lose His power!

Prayer Suggestion: Thank you Lord for the Holy Spirit who guides me into all truth. Help me to hear you more clearly. God do to me what you have done for so many others. I want to know you more, and be strengthened and grounded in your truth. Help me to believe and not doubt when you are speaking to me. I pray for a spirit of discernment, and wisdom. In Jesus' Name I Pray, Amen.

Is it possible that "soul-care" and "deliverance ministry" is satan's ploy to keep you focused on self? I call it - It's the "all about me" syndrome! If a believer is constantly focused on their "soul" needs and "deliverance" from whatever, they are ineffective for the Kingdom of God. The past is the past, you are new creation in Christ. (2 Cor 5:17) You can't move forward in His freedom if you are still stuck in the past.

Jesus healed and then said "pick up your mat and walk!" He did not say, let's revisit your life to see how you got like this, or let's talk about how being paralyzed affected you all these years!? No! He said Go and tell what God has done for you! Don't believe you're in a locked prison when the door is unlocked, and all you need to do is walk out. The best treatment plan is to serve others. Set your mind on things above. (Col 3:2)

Peace comes when you think of yourself less. Jesus died to set you free from yourself so you can live in Him, and Him in you.

Prayer Suggestion: Thank you Lord that you said "You will keep in perfect peace, those whose mind is stayed on you." (Isaiah 26:3) I choose to be thankful in all things. Help me to focus on you and how you want to use me in this world for your glory. In Jesus' Name I pray, Amen.

Freedom In Christ

          Freedom In Christ

Have you ever wondered why some people come to know Jesus as Lord and Savior and are completely freed from past wounds? While others, perhaps you, became a Christian, and are still dealing with the old hurts, past trauma, and negative ruminating thought patters?

When you become a child of God and co-heirs with Christ, you are "delivered" from satan. You are now free and healed by the blood of Jesus. However, there are times that healing for some may be more of a process. If the past keeps repeating - more healing work may be needed through the renewing of the mind with God's truth (Rom 12:2). It doesn't necessarily mean you need "deliverance ministry" because remember when you are under the blood of Jesus, you are delivered. But if you're not walking in the victory that Christ died for you have, more healing needs to take place. It starts with the mindset. The mind-set on Jesus and the victory over your mind and thought patterns. Jesus wants you to walk in victory from the past! God's word has supernatural power to transform you from the inside out. "The words I have spoken over you - they are full of the Spirit and life." (John 6:63) All of us need to be reading daily, but some may have to put in extra time to "unlearn" what you have learned from past experiences.

Prayer Suggestion: Thank you Lord for your word that sets me free. I pray as I read the scriptures you will heal my soul exactly where it needs healing. (Soul is your Mind, Will, and Emotions). God you know all things, I pray for a revelation of your perfect love through your scriptures as I read them daily. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.

Everybody is looking for peace, and relief from stress and anxiety. Unfortunately, they are more likely to come across a secular or world view of how to achieve it. There are many different techniques that promise peace such as yoga, meditation, mindfulness and energy healing to name a few. But none of them are of God. The Spirit of God needs to be the source of the healing. “Test the Spirits to see whether they are of God.” (1 John 4:1-6) Don't fall into the deception that it doesn’t matter where the healing technique originates from. We are called to walk with the Holy Spirit and to discern which Spirits are from God and which are from the “anti-Christ.” You ask why does it matter? If Jesus came to give us life, and Satan is wants to steal, kill and destroy, you tell me why it matters? The enemy of your soul is looking for an entry into your life. He can come in through many ways including so called “healing” that originates from other spirits. Satan is the master of deception, and believers need to discern the spirits because there are many at work against us.

God is the originator of meditation. Satan is the counterfeit. We are to fill our mind with God’s word. Worldly or secular meditation teach you to empty your thoughts. God’s word says take every thought captive and make them align with His word. We are never asked to empty our mind or accept all our thoughts! Mindfulness teaches to notice your thoughts passing through your mind, and just let them pass. Thoughts that are against God’s ways need to be rebuked in Jesus name! We need to be aware of our thoughts, because sin starts with a thought! The spiritual battle starts in the mind. Jesus fought against Satan in the wilderness. Satan was tempting Jesus, and Jesus fought back by quoting bible scriptures from the Old Testament. A believer must always pay attention and test their thoughts. Jesus knew it wasn’t His father that was planting thoughts in His mind trying to get him to question His identity! He rebuked Satan immediately, Jesus is our example how to fight off the devil.

Some examples of what it means to meditate on God’s word are to ponder, to converse with oneself aloud, to reflect on, to utter, to speak, declare, and pray. Through meditation on God’s word we are filling our mind with life and spirit. (see John 6:63) Meditation on God’s word brings the Holy Spirit’s power of transformation and healing from the inside out. The bible, which is God’s word, is supernatural healing power. “If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you. This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.” (John 15:7) Spiritual intimacy with God through prayer and meditation is vital in pursuing supernatural peace and contentment in this world.

His Way = Life

          His Way = Life

“There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death.” (Proverbs 16:25)

Stay close to the Lord, seeking His direction and will. His plans for your life are good! He is good! He is so good! Jesus even warns us not everyone

(in the natural and also in the spiritual realm) is looking at our best interest. Be careful who you ask for advice and follow. We need to be a follower of Jesus as He is the One who is the only perfect counselor and healer. He is the one who will never leave or forsake us.

“Jesus came to give us life to the fullest, satan came to steal, kill and destroy.” (See John 10:10) The scriptures are alive, this is still truth today and always will be. (See Isaiah 40:8) Jesus still gives us life to those who come to Him and satan is still trying to destroy, and deceive people. If you don’t have a Bible you need to get one. Without it you will surely not be able to follow the “right way.” His way is the only way ~

“I am the way, the truth and the life.” (John 14:6)

What is your fav bible translation?

Prayer Suggestion: God, thank you for your perfect love! Thank you Lord for wanting to be in close relationship with me! I ask you Lord for a Spirit of wisdom and divine insight. I pray for my Spiritual ears to be open Spiritual eyes to see what you are doing. Increase Holy Spirit in my life! I want to know you more Jesus! Come Holy Spirit we welcome you!

          In Jesus’ name, Amen.

          Be You.

God created you. You didn’t. Everything you have is from Him for Him. Are you satisfied? You should be! You are a work in progress as He shapes you into His image and likeness. Yet some are still concerned with their “image.” Many go through lengths to pull off an image God didn’t choose for them. Personality Disorders- Identity Confusion - Insecurity and Fear.

The enemy of their soul has many blinded by if they were ....... then they would be held in high esteem, worthy. The only One we should be concerned of how we are seen is God! If He sees you as good, then you're good! It doesn’t matter who you know, how much money you have, or even how many scriptures you have memorized. The only attention and acceptance you need is from Him. You are already accepted in Him! Put the effort In loving Him well and His confidence will flow through. The last thing you will think, is what do people think!

Thank you Lord for your perfect love. And righteousness through your blood. Help me to know I am made perfect in you and to walk in the confidence of who you say I am. I pray Holy Spirit deeper revelation of my identity In you. I rebuke the lie of the enemy that says I’m not enough.

All day long we are being exposed to things of this world. What we see and hear paint a picture in our mind. It can be good, bad or neutral. However, it is seed being planted to produce fruit. If it’s things of darkness, you will produce darkness. Fear, anger and anxiety are great examples! But If we are exposing ourselves to things of God, we will reproduce things of the Spirit, love, joy and peace!

“Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you.” (James 1:21) The word of God is seed, and it produces fruit. We must reject the world’s evil and accept the word that was planted. “Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in the mirror and after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like.” (James 1:23)

This is what can happen when Christians go to church because it’s Sunday, and it’s what they “should” do. They hear the word, that could save them! But instead of accepting the word they just listen. The word does not take root, and it can’t produce fruit. The scripture tells us that those who merely listen to the word without doing anything with it, are deceiving themselves. This is how the Spirit of Religion works. Religion says go through motions, check the box, do the rituals, and say the prayer. It looks good on the outside, but on the inside nothing has changed.

Jesus wants our hearts. One hundred percent sold out hearts for Him. We need to guard our hearts and minds to what we are allowing to be sown. We must be intentional on allowing the word of God to be planted deep in our hearts, and the Holy Spirit watering it daily.

Heavenly Father, thank you for your grace! Help me to not merely be a listener of the word, but to accept the word and do it. Lord, I want your word to transform me from the inside out. I want to produce fruit that will last for the kingdom of God! Holy Spirit be my teacher and guide.

Stop Worrying

         Stop Worrying!

Worry never changes anything! If not controlled, worry can change to anxiety then sometimes panic. Worry is faith in the wrong thing. Worry is believing the worst will happen. Jesus told us "be still and know God." (Psalm 46:10) God's plans are good. (Jer 29:11) If God tells us not to worry, and we certainly don't want to, then why can't we stop!? We have an adversary (satan) who finds great delight in seeing God's people walk in fear, worry and anxiety! These fearful thoughts are coming from doubting that God is in control and He can change situations. Many people that worry often actually pray less! When you worry you are actually reinforcing the negative thoughts and all the "what if's" that come with it. Worry keeps prayers in the earthly realm. As Believers in Christ, we are called to pray in faith, and believe you have received. We are called to pray from heavenly realms, where we are seated with Christ. We pray FROM victory in the name of JESUS. Praying this way not only will shift the atmosphere, but it will shift your perspective. We are called to decree and declare what is already done in Christ. If you are walking with the Lord, in a relationship with Him, led by the Holy Spirit - then you are covered in His protection. (Psalm 91) Worry is a distraction from satan to keep you from doing what God created you for. Worry puts the "STOP" on your life - it becomes habitual and the more you do it, the more fear increases and faith decreases. The Victory is in Christ, the battle is His. It is a false reality that if you worry enough and overthink a situation then a solution will come and "fix" the problem. Worry leaves God out of the equation. "Do not be anxious about anything, but pray in everything." (Philippians 4:6)

“Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I will depart. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away, may the name of the Lord be praised.” (Job 1:20)

Job lost ALL that he had, including his family, sheep, and servants! He actually lost everything while being in right standing with God! God allowed this test and “In all this Job did not sin by charging God with wrongdoing.” (Job 1:22)

Christian’s can love God for who He is, and not just for what He gives. God already gave us His Best gift, JESUS!! Who came down from heaven, to redeem and restore what satan has stolen. Mankind, made in His image. Christmas is a time to reflect NOT on all the gifts we get, or things we do, but on the gift of eternal life with God, through Christ. A revelation of His love for you is needed to be able to say Praise the Lord through all circumstances in life. He is worthy of praise! Only In Christ is hope for today, and eternal life. Whatever today looks like for you – there is hope!

If you find yourself looking at the things you don’t have, remember all that you do have. Unwrap the Christmas gift that has your personal name on it. He wants you to know Him more intimately. His love for you is always completely perfect!

Prayer Suggestion: Thank you Jesus for your love! Thank you for saving me! I pray Lord that this Christmas my focus would be on you, and your gift of eternity, that starts now, in you and through you. Lord you said that you are a rewarder for those who diligently seek you. I pray God as I seek you more now than ever before you will reveal yourself to me in a new and powerful way. In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Faith is like a muscle. We all want to be strong, right?! Well, you can make it grow, and it will get stronger. Be consistent! Exercise it, trust God in everything. Pray continually and believe. He loves to show up and show off! Jesus wants you to walk in faith in Him not in yourself. Jesus never said, ok go, you guys got this. No! He said "Whatever you ask in My name, I will do it so that the Father may be glorified in the Son." (see John 14:13)

We can’t blame anyone for our negative feelings. Blame pushes focus off of ourselves and onto others. Blame won’t heal the wound. Quite the opposite, blame holds on as a disguise “I have the right to be bitter.” God wants you better, not bitter. He wants to heal those that blame others and those that are being blamed.

A feeling is a choice. And so is blame. When you choose to blame you are saying it’s their fault, not yours. True or not, it doesn’t matter. Jesus took our fault on His life, when He had no fault. We have no right to hold others fault against them. Jesus says to forgive others. (see Eph 4:32) He doesn’t say when and how, He just says forgive. And don’t wait for an apology, you might not get one. Christ died for your sins before you even repented. In His strength you can do the same for others.

God calls us to take the high road. When you act and react justly even towards injustice, God will reward you. Humility says you don’t have to be right. Pride says you must get others to understand that you are right. Whether you’re the blamer or the blamee, know that Satan is behind it all! He is the real accuser (see Revelation 12:10). He wants to divide you and God (unforgiveness is sin), Satan wants to destroy churches, family, and friends. Especially during the Christmas season he is hoping that all will default back to past wounds.

Jesus gave His life for all people. Even those that cursed Him, He said Father forgive them for they don’t know what they do (see Luke 23:34). God is saying today, to forgive those who are holding on to past hurts. You don’t have to ‘be’ right you just have to ‘do’ right. Bless them and God will bless you, and you will free yourself from trying to get the unreasonable person to be reasonable. That is His job.

Prayer Suggestion: Thank you Lord for forgiving me of my sins. If I have any unconfessed sin in my life, please bring it to my awareness so I can repent. If there is anyone who I owe an apology, show me. God, I choose to forgive those who have hurt me, and I pray that you will help me to respond in love, even when I am blamed with or without cause. I take full responsibility for my own actions, and I leave everything else in your hands. I pray that your light will shine through me, as I yield to Holy Spirit direction in my words and deed.

"Stongholds" are systems of thought. Break the “Strongholds” by being mindful. Think about what you’re thinking about. Holy Spirit in us, gives us the ability to think like God. 20/20 is perfect spiritual vision, to agree with the God of miracles. Holy Spirit wants to teach a new system of thinking as you feed on God’s word daily. 2020 is the decade the body of Christ will be “bubbling” up and pouring out the Word of God to demolish strongholds over people and nations. Believers everywhere will have a deeper revelation of the power of the spoken word of God. The angles are waiting to do the bidding of God’s word. (see Psalm 103:20)

Prayer Suggestion: Heavenly Father, I pray that you will give me the hunger and desire to read, speak and walk out your Holy Word daily. I ask for a supernatural ability to retain what I read, and a spirit of revelation and wisdom to prophesy as you lead me. In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Jesus said from the cross "father forgive them they don't know what they do." (Luke 23:33) oh that is love! Jesus taking on our past, present, and future sin, on His body. Died a death we deserved, all to reconcile us back to the Father. Inviting us into His family, co-heirs with Christ. He did that for us, while we were still sinners! He died for the person who hasn't repented, or doesn't even believe in Him! He asks us to do the same. To forgive others even when they don't ask for forgiveness, or even acknowledge their wrong, (sometimes destructive action) - with the Holy Spirit power, we can forgive and bless them. Jesus said He won't forgive us, unless we forgive others. We cannot afford to let satan have a stronghold of unforgiveness in our life. He is the one encouraging you not to forgive (perhaps using people). Listen to your Father, who knows what's best for you, so you can bear good fruit for the kingdom, and walk in His fullness. God Bless!

Prayer Suggestion: Lord, thank you for forgiving me of my sin, I chose to forgive others (name). Help me to see through your eyes of love, and have your heart for others. I pray for Holy Spirit increase in my life, In Jesus Name, Amen.
